We all love playing games, but why is it that we think we increasingly don't have enough time for them?! Or, why do we think we need to make time for games instead of them making time for us? Maybe games are just… too long? Join Jamin as he dives into this topic on this weeks Game/Show!

Why can't you have sex with everyone in the Witcher 3?! Despite being able to in the previous 2 installments, and at the frustration of many players, Witcher 3 deviates from Geralt of Rivia's 'expectations' with every major female character in the game…But should you be able to? Join Jamin on this week's episode of Game/Show as he dives in to the world of The Witcher. From sideshadowing to narrative tricks, is this change boring or helping to expand on narrative possibilities? Let us know in the comments!

Are Games Insensitive??
Subscribe to PBS Game/Show! http://bit.ly/1BPJ2VE Tweet at us! https://twitter.com/pbsgameshow
↓ More info and sources below ↓

Cultural Appropriation came to the forefront of our collective consciousness last year under the auspices of Taylor Swift and Iggy Azalea, but games have suffered from this same insensitivity for a long long time. From Custer's Revenge to Grand Theft Auto 5, Far Cry 2 to Resident Evil - games don't exactly have the best track record when it comes to nuanced displays of cultures. Join Jamin on this week's episode of Game/Show as he looks at the how and why of cultural appropriation in games and looks at interesting games that actually do a good ob of displaying foreign cultures! Check it out!

Why is there so much food in videogames? SERIOUSLY! Even in the quintessential videogame Super Mario Brothers, food appears within the first few seconds. It's an, until now, unquestioned part of all the games that we play. But on this week's episode of Game/Show, Jamin looks long and hard at the history of food in games with games like Cooking Mama, Mario Party, Cook, Serve, Delicious, Paper Mario, Wind Waker, Skyrim… the list goes on. Food is in EVERYTHING! Check out this week's episode and find out why!
