Istanbul quickly became one of my favorite cities to visit ever and I've been to hundreds of cities around the world. It's the only city in the world that's located on two continents (Europe and Asia) but it also has a Middle Eastern flavor as 95% of the country is Muslim. The architecture of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Suleymaniye Mosque, the New Mosque, and Topkapi Palace is incredible. I also visited the Basilica Cistern, the Hippodrome, experienced the hustle and bustle of the Spice Market and Grand Bazaar, and took a cruise on the Bosphorus Strait. This was an adventure I will never forget!
