Messy Desk Interactive Spacedock Lounge - Fan Art

  1. Messy Desk Interactive: It is! Designed by Rekkert for a Nebula-Class Starship. Our intent was always to reuse it, with some adjustments for a drydock/spacedock.
  2. Teemu M.: Wow, they are pretending like this wasn´t part of Stage 9. At the same time they are advertizing the next big project. It is like they lie to protect themselves, but mislead the fans.
  3. Daniel Strain: Any chance I could get a copy? :)
  4. Kevin Laity: This is wonderful, but your spacedock seems to have the iconian virus, someone is trying and failing to get through one of the doors at 1:02!
  5. kasterborous: Scragnogs Den Makes sense - a good design is worth reusing, especially when you consider Starfleet’s love of modularity.
  6. Jason Chappel: I would LOVE to see more of this Spacedock.
  7. Tadeo D'Oria: Our next big project will have nothing to do with Stage 9 or with Star Trek; we have no intention of going anonymous or pirate stuff. Like the description of these videos say, these are just side projects; and being just fan art videos without the ability to download and play these for yourself, plus not being in any canon location, they don't fall under the C&D. :) +Teemu M.
  8. Teemu M.: Misleading by promising the next big project but your last big project was stage 9. you can't promise if you are under threat from cbs. neutralize their legal threat by going full anonymous and pirate against all the rules. or is their 15 min two episodes rule usable for you? perhaps these small rooms leave you safe from cbs claims?
  9. kjseek: Fantastic again! Love these, seeing other never seen parts of the Star Trek (TM, Registered, Copyright) universe is so cool. This is so right on what a contemporary lounge would look like at a place like Spacedock. Excellent, and keep em coming!!!
  10. Mark Lynch: I hope that everyone who were working on the virtual Ent-D ship carry on working on it just for themselves. Obviously it is sad that the rest of us will never get to see it, but I don't see any legal reason why it cannot be completed as a private project. If it is not released, you can't have a C&D order slapped on... :)
  11. kasterborous: Hold on... isn’t that Two Three Fore?
  12. Tadeo D'Oria: The room itself was made as a commission to a client of mine back in July, as you can see here: http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/showthread.php?82357-Star-Trek-Interiors&p=614279&viewfull=1#post614279 and here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/XqdLL We were planning to add it to Stage 9 right around when the C&D came around, but we never got the chance.
  13. Jonathan Mickelson: Completely awesome, beautifully executed, makes me so mad, I WISH a billionaire would buy the IP and create something beautiful with it rather than the utter crap made by corporate buffoons at CBS... Who also crap on fans the world over.
  14. Messy Desk Interactive: Can you elaborate what you mean please? There's no intent to mislead anyone here.
  15. Leytra: Nice except.. That is NOT how a Tri-Dimensional chess board is supposed to look. It's not even got the right layout for playing.
  16. Dantastic: Without question, i would have loved to have seen this as part of the Enterprise-D. CBS/Paramount/Cryptic/etc really need to lose the licence. They don't deserve it. Damn you Mickey Mouse!
  17. Aaron the Humanist: Now that is just gorgeous, I want to go there. Such familiarity and yet never before seen, combining elements of Ten Forward and Enterprise refit split level lounges. If I ever win the lottery, I am hiring you guys to design my home!
  18. Callum Wearne: We lost the Enterprise D it is currently being Hijacked by CBS lawyers, But we didn't loose Spacedock!
  19. Terkzorr: Omg I'm getting massive Orville vibes from this, dunno why.
  20. NavaNix: Epic
  21. Aaron the Humanist: Okay okay, I'm going to have to say it. This masterpiece, as much as I don't want to critique it, has one flaw. The windows are too thin. Typical hulls are about 40cm to 50cm in depth, with hull plating, space frame, insulation, radiation shielding and other gubbins. My only change would be to add depth to the hull.
  22. ChunkeeMunkee: I was never the biggest fan of Star Trek in the galaxy, but my absolute favourite element from the Trek 'verse was always the Enterprise D. Walking around that vessel was an amazing experience, and one that must have been such a dream for so many Star Trek fans out there (including yourselves!). Thank God I kept a backup of v10! It makes me so sad that the suits at CBS did what they did, but seeing this video and hearing from your comments that you guys are still working together and still working out the details for a new project fills me with so much hope. If you can put together a new project that shows even half of the love you poured into Stage 9, it's gonna be something stellar!
